Mandy has spoken at College institutions starting with Metro Toronto University in 2007. The subject was building an online business.

Then she spoke again twice at the University of Toronto history department, once in 2020 in person (before COVID hit in Toronto)

then again on ZOOM in 2022. The subjects involved the history of sex-work then the history of the internet, as she started online as early as 1992.

The most recent speaking engagement June 20/23 was for the Sheridan College Alumni Fireside chat ,Tuesday June 20th 2023 on hope and handling what life gives you.

Mandy was featured in an article 2023 The Naked Truth online publication. The article was a general piece but focused on the re-launch of her popular weekly trans women events. Titled Mandy Goodhandy rises again.

In the 2021  Queers in the arts series of articles for Toronto's PinkPlayMags a lifestyle magazine written from a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer perspective.

For the Fall issue she was asked to concentrate on Queers in Music. She got to speak with “Beverly” Glenn Copeland

Canadians knew him best as regular guest ‘Beverly’ on the beloved Canadian children’s TV show Mr. Dress-up for nearly 30 years. He wrote for Sesame Street. He wrote musicals, operas, children’s music and hundreds upon hundreds of other songs.

She also got to write an article for Buzz Magazine  about J.J. Hawkins is a gender-non-conforming trans-masculine person he/him they/them, known for NCIS (2003), Stupid Cupid (2018) and Criminal Minds (2005) with the remake of TV show Charmed soon to be added to this bio (2020).

In 2021 Mandy Goodhandy was asked to do a Queers in the arts series of articles for Toronto's PinkPlayMags a lifestyle magazine written from a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer perspective.

For their March 2021 Spring issue she was asked to concentrate on Queers in Literature. Mandy wanted to focus on the trans perspective for this particular article by looking back a bit on not when it started but when it started to blossom.

Who better, in her opinion, than Kate Bornstein?

Kate (along with Leslie Feinberg) In her words " I was one of the first trans individuals to delve into mainstream literature", which at the time she/they didn’t consider it literature, but more like fancy notes. She/they wrote one piece of literature, which was her/their memoir,

Gender Outlaw: On Men, Women, and the rest of us, then followed up with Hello Cruel World: 101 Alternatives to Suicide for Teens, Freaks, and Other Outlaws
